This restaurant was a great breakfast spot for locals who haven't found it yet, or those passing through should spend time to get slightly further off the highway. The menu has a selection to account for each kind of person's breakfast choice, and the specials were also nice additions. We were promptly seated with a larger party of 10, and service was just as quick. Don't pass this place up.

WELL WORTH THE DETOUR OFF THE INTERSTATE!! My wife and I were on a roadtrip from Atlanta to Chicago when we stopped here for lunch. There was a plumber working nearby and we asked him about Sharons. He said it was good home cooking. That's all we need to hear! The menu is limited, but you can rest assured what you get will be good!

My server was great: she was very helpful and polite. I ordered biscuits and gravy and a large orange juice for breakfast. The biscuits were extremely dense and kind of dry. The gravy was bland and lumpy, although there was no taste of raw flour, which I somewhat expected from the lumps. It was obvious that the gravy was made using real sausage drippings based on the color of the gravy, but it was still bland, surprisingly. The price of the full size biscuits and gravy was $3, which would be reasonable if it were actually good. The price for a large orange juice is $3.75, which is only slightly more than the price of an entire gallon from Walmart. The atmosphere was fairly typical for a diner or cafe in this area. I will probably go back to try another meal, but I will avoid the biscuits and gravy.

Could use some freshening up with paint and design, but it’s a friendly small town place with a great breakfast. I was boring and went for the special 1/2 order of B&G, hash browns, egg, and coffee, and I’m so glad I did. They use real salted butter and the gravy was a perfect light feeling, sweet/peppery taste! Also, I love the supermarket automatic doors. They could really use a sign out front, but hey, that’s why my breakfast was only $5. They aren’t getting rich here!
